Whitewater Restaurant

Saturday night I had plans to go out for dinner with my Sister Nic to Whitewater Restaurant. We have never really had the chance to have a dinner just the two of us with out the husbands and kids so it was well overdue. I booked this restaurant cause I had heard really good things about it and one of the girls I work with highly recommended it.

Besides the perfect location, right on Manly Beachfront, it was a fancy place to eat. Not somewhere I would usually go unless for a really special occasion.

I was really lucky where I was picked up from home so I didn’t have to drive at all and dropped home. We parked in the council car park just under Coles, which is the closest car-park to the restaurant. I was actually surprised at how much parking was available on a Saturday night.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was really good, they had gas heaters throughout so it wasn’t cold at all once you where inside. We were lucky to have a table looking out at Manly Beach so a nice view (even thou it was night time). It was so nice catching up with my sister just the two of us as it is very rare thing we get to do. We got to reminisce about times when we were growing up and I got to catch up on all the gossip on my three nieces.

For dinner I ordered the Chicken Tagliolini  $29 with mushroom and creamy sauce. It was delicious, had heaps of Garlic in it thou. Nic ordered the Barramundi (gf)  $36 Pan roasted and sake steamed fillet with a beetroot and Parmesan risotto served with balsamic glaze.  She said it was really nice. The service was fantastic and staff were really friendly. we even had an voucher from the entertainment book which ended up giving us $20 off the total bill.

I would like to thank my sister (Nic) for taking me out for dinner for my Birthday and I can’t wait to catch up and do it again!
